2022 has been a special year for this varsity squad! Thank you for believing in our program. Your growth was beyond what we thought we could do this year! We still have a lot of work to do, but we're getting there!!

Maya Finishes her outstanding freshman year by running the Hoffman Sectional in 19:23.9, for a six-second PR in the toughest Sectional in the state of Illinois!

Maya executed her race plan to run a lifetime best! Congratulations, Maya!

Freshman Maya Zabiegly, MSL ALL-CONFERENCE, placed 25th in the varsity race! Sophomore Sandy Chagoyga, MSL ALL-CONFERENCE and running in her first race of the season, placed 23rd in the Frosh/Soph Race! Out of the 31 girls that raced at conference, 14 ran a lifetime best!

WHEELING INVITE 10/8

On Saturday, the girls traveled to Heritage Park for the Wheeling Invite! Conditions were perfect for 9 PR'S!! Maya Zabiegly finished 19th in the Varsity Race with a time of 19:37.06 and Izzy Ratajewski finish 11th in the open race!

Priya PR'd by one minute and also recorded the fastest frosh/soph 3rd mile!

Yu Li competed in her first race of the season and beat last years PR by 1:52!

PEORIA INVITE

On Saturday, October 1st, the varsity team traveled to Peoria for the 67th Annual Peoria Cross Country Invite. The conditions were perfect! It was sunny, 55°, with a slight breeze.. PERFECT! All 7 runners ran an all-time personal best and the team finished 13th out of 26 teams!
